Hi. I'm Junaid Farooq, the person behind Free Generator.
I built this site because I kept running into the same problem: you need a quick QR code, a password, or some other generated file, and every tool either wants your email, slaps a watermark on the output, or looks like it hasn't been updated since 2015.
Free Generator is the opposite. Every tool runs in your browser. Your data stays on your device. Downloads are clean with no watermarks and no "upgrade to pro" on basic features.
What we believe
- Free means free. Not free for 5 downloads.
- Tools should work on mobile without pinching and zooming.
- Privacy is not a premium feature. It is the default.
- Good design makes tools easier to use, not harder.
How tools are built
Each generator uses standard web technologies and the same encoding formats used across the industry. QR codes follow ISO/IEC 18004. Password generators use cryptographically secure randomness. I document how things work in our guides so you can verify, not just trust.
We're starting with QR codes and expanding into other generator categories: text, images, business tools. Everything is organized by topic so the site stays focused and useful.
