Is Free Generator really free?
Yes, all the way. No trial period, no locked features behind a paywall, no watermark tax on your downloads. The generator you get today is the same one you'd get on a paid plan anywhere else. We just don't have a paid plan.
Do you store what I generate?
No. Whatever you type, whether a URL, a WiFi password, or a phone number, gets turned into a QR code entirely inside your browser. Nothing is uploaded, logged, or saved on our end. Close the tab and it's gone unless you've downloaded it.
Can I use generated QR codes commercially?
Yes. Codes you generate here are yours. Put them on packaging, menus, business cards, ads, whatever you need. There's no license fee and no attribution requirement.
Will my QR codes expire?
No. These are static QR codes, meaning the content is baked directly into the pattern itself rather than pointing to a link we control. There's no server on our end that could go down or get shut off, so there's nothing to expire.
